We are hiring for Valcre, a prominent provider of commercial real estate appraisal software designed to streamline and modernize the appraisal process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Provide timely and professional support to clients via email, live chat, phone, and remote desktop tools, ensuring all inquiries are handled thoroughly and courteously.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to the appraisal software, guiding customers through features and troubleshooting steps effectively.
  • Prioritization: Manage workload to address urgent issues promptly while maintaining an overall high level of customer satisfaction and response times.
  • Product Analysis: Test use cases and scenarios to identify bugs or enhancements, documenting findings clearly and systematically.
  • Escalation Management: Collaborate with internal technical and product teams by escalating complex or unresolved issues, ensuring continuous communication between customers and support resources.
  • Feedback Sharing: Collect and relay customer feedback to Product, Customer Success, and Development teams to influence improvements and feature development.
  • Ticket Management: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all support interactions in Zendesk, ensuring tickets are updated and resolved efficiently.

Job Description and Qualifications

We are seeking a Support Specialist with at least two years of experience in customer-facing technology support roles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, particularly in software environments, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) are essential for effectively assisting international customers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a persistent problem-solving mindset, analytical thinking, and a process-driven approach to resolving issues. Strong interpersonal skills including empathy, integrity, and dedication to exceptional customer service are vital. Flexibility to work during US Central Time business hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including occasional weekend shifts with alternating days off, is required.

Proven remote work experience with reliable internet and power supply (including backups) is necessary to ensure uninterrupted support availability. The role demands collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience handling challenging customer situations with professionalism and clarity is highly valued. Candidates who have created training materials or delivered training sessions about technology or processes will be distinguished for their ability to empower team members and customers alike. Familiarity with the commercial real estate appraisal sector, particularly with valuation methodologies and industry-specific software, will be a strong advantage. Additionally, experience working in startups or dynamic, evolving environments is desirable, as it reflects adaptability and comfort with rapid change.
