Platform Engineer in DynWrk

At Vivint, you will join a forward-thinking team dedicated to shaping the future of smart homes for millions of users. We seek a skilled Platform Engineer to build, maintain, and scale foundational systems for our software development lifecycle. This role focuses on creating reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure and tooling, enabling rapid and safe software delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and automation tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SREs, developers, and QA to enhance developer experience and streamline deployments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS).
• Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement best practices in security, compliance, observability, and disaster recovery.
• Write technical documentation and guide on platform tool usage.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis for platform-related issues.
