Quality Automation Engineer in Nisum Latam

We are looking for a QA Engineer experienced in manual and automated testing of backend systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the high quality of our solutions, working closely with distributed and cross-functional teams across the globe.

• Work with product managers, developers and other Quality Engineers to develop test plans for user and technical stories
• Test backend applications manually
• Develop automated tests of backend applications
• Coordinate with other teams for releases
• Document bugs with a great level of detail
• Troubleshoot issues and help on root cause analysis
• Guarantee the quality of every deliverable
• Communicate and collaborate with client teams on various topics such as requirements, releases, regression testing etc.

• You must reside in Latam
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Manual testing of backend systems, using Postman or similar tools
• Proficiency in SQL
• Good hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG and/or RestAssured
• Experience with Java
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and collaboration
• Documentation of test plans
• Experience with different testing stages such as component testing, integration testing, E2E, regression etc.
• Collaboration with distributed teams (USA, offshore)
• Proficiency in English communication (verbal, written)
