We are looking for someone who’s passionate about nature, environmental protection and technology, with extensive experience in writing (English) and willing to be part of a diverse and distributed team. This person will be in charge of adding value through their writing to the readers of our blog.

At Lemu we are building an app to value life on Earth. Through technology we create a platform where nature lovers and conservation projects around the world can connect.

Responsibilities:

Create content pieces in a variety of formats and platforms such as Social Media, Newsletters, Sales Pitches, emails.
Create content pieces aiming to engage with our audience in the forms of (but not limited to): long-form writing, announcements and press releases, ebooks, white-papers, case studies, academic cases, interviews, essays, profiles and newsletters, copies for ads, social media and texts to attract our different audiences. Also this content could be a video or an event.
Responsible for translation (English & Spanish)
8 articles per month in English (between 1800 and 2300 words approx each).
Upload the articles to the blog
Uphold brand voice style and storytelling while researching optimized keywords and phrases and weaving them into the stories organically.
Incorporate SEO optimized keywords and phrases weaving them into stories organically.
Search for stock images
Research of similar articles and competitor analysis
Create Titles, Meta Descriptions and alt texts for each article
Sharing ideas for new content

Requerimientos del cargo

Native in English (Preferably) and fluency Spanish.
Experience in writing web articles, blog posts, newsletters, copy for Social Media, campaigns, etc.
Knowledge of SEO
Wordpress experience (desirable)
Knowledge, interest or previous experience in nature and technology, earth sciences, or ecology (desirable).
