.NET Developer Responsibilities

As a .NET Developer at Moventi, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and migrating software applications using C# and the .NET platform. Your core tasks will include migrating existing applications from the legacy .NET Framework to modern versions such as .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8 to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance improvements.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and other developers, participating in collaborative agile environments to deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will utilize and possibly extend communication protocols like Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and gRPC to enable seamless and efficient service interactions.

Throughout your tasks, you will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, participate in code reviews, and maintain documentation to support future maintenance and knowledge sharing. Your role is key in transitioning Moventi's client solutions towards modern technology stacks while adhering to best practices.

Candidate Profile and Required Skills

Around 4–5 years of professional experience in C# and .NET development.
We are seeking a professional with strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework, with hands-on experience migrating applications from legacy .NET Framework versions to .NET Standard 2.0 or the latest .NET 8. This knowledge is critical to modernize and optimize existing software assets.

Familiarity with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) is essential, as it remains a core technology in some projects. Experience or exposure to gRPC is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of modern inter-service communication patterns and emerging technologies in distributed systems.

Besides technical expertise, candidates must exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach to work. Being proactive, responsible, and committed to continuous learning and innovation aligns with Moventi's organizational culture. Previous experience working in agile or multidisciplinary teams will be advantageous.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Additional experience with microservices architecture, containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) will be considered a plus. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks that support .NET applications will further strengthen candidacy.

Understanding of front-end technologies or complementary frameworks to deliver full-stack solutions is also appreciated. Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools can be advantageous for holistic software delivery.
