Performance Objectives

1. Work with Software Developers to configure traceability software to match workflows and data collection in seafood factories and be able to lead a customer configuration within 90 days.

  • Translate existing factory workflows and paper forms into software
  • Configure JSON schemas to generate digital forms and workflows in software
  • Configure labels using ZPL command language for printers
  • Configure IoT edge devices to integrate hardware such as weigh scales and scanners into software.

2. Prioritize and manage front-line, remote customer support via online Service Desk and telephone

  • Troubleshoot problems and document bugs to elevate to software developers
  • Proficient communication using Jira Help Desk and Jira Kanban
  • Ability to escalate and document support tickets to software developers

3. Assist with on-site and cloud installations of the traceability software in seafood manufacturing facilities lasting from 4 to 10 days. May require international travel from 6 to 10 times per year.

Qualifications

  • 3 years customer support experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
  • Analytical, attention to detail, and technical problem solving
  • Experience with Linux, Bash scripting language and Docker (preferred), or a strong willingness to learn fast
