Implement and Support Corporate Business Systems in the region of South America.
The AMER ADM Manager role is to implement new and support existing corporate business systems used in several Golder Offices around South America. Currently Golder operates in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Brasil and Peru. The team has 4 software developers distributed over these offices that are proficient in system analysis, database administration, user support and software development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and managing all activities required to implement, maintain and adapt BIS systems in South America.
- Managing a small team of system analysts, developers and database administrators.
- Overseeing and administering tickets routed from Help Desk to the team.
- Addressing problems and opportunities of improvement regarding the operation of the BIS systems.
- Leading change management and user adoption.
- Effectively representing the AMER team in South America.
- Being an effective liaison with the global team.
- Working with key stakeholders to ensure effective change request intake, evaluation, acceptance or denial, and prioritization.
- Effective budget management, ensuring that stakeholder needs are met within budgetary constraints.
The desired candidate will possess:
- University degree in the field of computer science, engineering or similar.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT project and team management.
- Fluent, close to native communication in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).
- Comfortable managing a distributed IT team using written communication, instant messaging, and other telecom as well as ticketing systems.
