Job functions

What we’re looking for

A Business Intelligence Administrator responsible for the administration, maintenance, enablement and performance of Vacasa’s enterprise BI platforms. This role will also organize and conduct training with end users, and assist in the development of our onboarding processes.

What you’ll do

  • Design, configure, optimize, and maintain business intelligence tools.
  • Manage user requests for licenses, facilitate onboarding and basic training.
  • Troubleshoot BI platform and reporting system failures and performance issues.
  • Document and communicate best practices to drive consistency among users and improve system performance.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, and partner with Data Platform teams to define production level requirements.
  • Setup schedules and automatic notifications for data consumers.
  • Adhere to best practices and standards that align with our governance strategy.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Fluent English (reports to US and work with teams in the US and Latam)
  • Live in Chile
  • Bachelor’s degrees or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of administration experience with Business Intelligence visualization tools; experience with Looker or Tableau is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with SQL and experience working with Snowflake/Redshift.
  • Ability to balance work on multiple concurrent projects and support issues in an Agile development environment.
  • Must be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience and demonstrate an ability to solve business and technical challenges with the customer in mind.

Desirable skills

  • Strong problem solving skills; experience drafting postmortems a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non technical audiences
