• Design and build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a central repository or data warehouse
• Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively
• Store and organize data using appropriate technologies and approaches, such as selecting the right database technology and designing the data schema
• Process and transform data to prepare it for analysis, such as through data aggregation, cleansing, and transformation
• Collaborate with data scientists to help them access and prepare data for analysis
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data quality checks and monitoring data for anomalies or errors
• Manage data infrastructure, including hardware and software components, such as installing and configuring software and setting up and maintaining data servers.

1. A strong educational background in a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. (Top University) A master's degree is a plus.
2. Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python and JavaScript.
3. Experience with data processing and transformation technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or SQL.
4. Experience with data storage technologies such as relational databases (e.g., MySQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and data warehousing (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
6. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
7. Good communication skills, as data engineers often work closely with cross-functional teams and may be responsible for communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
9. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Digital Ocean.
10. Spanish and English are a must.

1. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
2. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Matplotlib, or D3.js.
3. Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Glue.
4. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
5. Experience with data governance and security practices, such as implementing data masking, encryption, or access controls.
6. Experience with data modeling and data architecture design.
7. Experience with agile development methodologies and practices.
8. Familiarity with software engineering best practices, such as writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews.
9. Experience working with distributed systems and distributed storage systems.
