Job Responsibilities and Core Functions
We are looking for a Data Engineer skilled in Snowflake, Airflow, Python, SQL, and Tableau who will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data pipelines and workflows. The primary goal is to enable reliable data processing and visualization to support business intelligence efforts.
Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using Airflow and Python for automated and scalable data processing.
Develop and maintain Snowflake data warehouses ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
Create SQL queries and scripts for data preparation, transformation, and loading processes.
Build and maintain interactive, insightful dashboards and reports in Tableau to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data analysts, business users, and other engineering teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize existing data workflows and dashboards to improve performance and reliability.
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience working in data engineering roles, particularly with Snowflake as the data warehousing solution. Strong proficiency in Python and Airflow is essential for orchestrating data workflows. Advanced SQL skills are critical for querying and managing complex datasets. Experience in building Tableau dashboards to enable data visualization and reporting is necessary to communicate insights effectively.
Beyond technical expertise, candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and have strong problem-solving capabilities.
