Job functions

Within 3 months:

  • Complete full training on Passport’s international shipping capabilities
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Passport’s delivery network and options
  • Complete full training on the Rates Management System and Pricing Templates
  • Be the primary backup for all rate requests
  • Generate ARR analysis the same day as pricing is complete
  • Complete PLD analysis requests within 1 business day
  • Complete network analysis requests within 1 business day

Within 6 months:

  • Create a reusable model that takes all fuel surcharge data from our various carriers and creates a blended surcharge by service level
  • Update data for network routing decisions within 1 business day of new costs being identified
  • Analyze opportunity win rates by tier and summarize key findings

Within 12 months:

  • Analyze competitor rates compared to our core services
  • Analyze YoY changes in network costs for annual rate increases

Qualifications and requirements

Analytical Skills - strong quantitative and analytical skills for interpreting complex data sets

Pricing Competency - understanding of financial concepts, including complex cost structures and profit margin

Data Analysis Tools - proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL

Communication Skills - excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders

Attention to Detail - proven ability to accurately create detailed analysis

Industry Knowledge - logistics background is a plus, but not required

Team Player - proven track record of collaborating cross functionally

Growth Mindset - understands the startup mentality and loves it

Trustworthy - has the character and competence to both understand Passport’s goals and ability to work independently to achieve them in accordance with our values.
