Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5–6+ years of experience to help build and maintain robust, scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. You will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions across products and clients.

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Build and manage data warehouse solutions that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement data quality checks, governance, and monitoring frameworks.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers.
Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to best practices and code reviews.

Requirements

Strong verbal communication skills in English.
5–6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for both OLAP and OLTP systems.
Expertise in Python or Scala for data processing and scripting.
Hands-on experience with tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks).
Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Docker.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fully remote work environment.

Soft skills such as excellent communication, problem-solving, and ability to mentor others are essential. The candidate must be professional in English as this role requires daily collaboration in a global remote team.

Nice to Have

Experience with data privacy and compliance frameworks like GDPR and HIPAA.
Background in real-time data processing or streaming systems.
Previous experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
