Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5–6+ years of experience to help build and maintain robust, scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. You will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions across products and clients.
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Build and manage data warehouse solutions that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks, governance, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers.
  • Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to best practices and code reviews.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills in English.
  • 5–6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for both OLAP and OLTP systems.
  • Expertise in Python or Scala for data processing and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Docker.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fully remote work environment.
Soft skills such as excellent communication, problem-solving, and ability to mentor others are essential. The candidate must be professional in English as this role requires daily collaboration in a global remote team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data privacy and compliance frameworks like GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Background in real-time data processing or streaming systems.
  • Previous experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
