Tableau Administrator in Ensitech

We are a company dedicated to custom software development, we have more than 16 years in the market and we have recently integrated into the American market by placing highly specialized personnel in the United States, working remotely.

Each of our collaborators works with different teams and with colleagues from all over the world, in a field of software design and marketing. Our current project is to work 100% remotely, on dynamic projects with developers of different levels to collaborate on updating, maintaining and configuring systems on different financial servers.

• Develop and document standards and best practices to support Tableau development and administration
• Maintain and Configure Tableau Server Software Layer
• The candidate will support Tableau platform maintaining functionality, accessibility and security of the platform as well as plan, schedule and perform patching and upgrade of the platform
• Perform system backup and recovery procedures
• Monitors Tableau server and analyze utilization patterns for user feedback, management reporting and future planning
• Forecasts utilization patterns and recommends capacity changes
• Tracks and reports system performance metrics
• Establish and maintain performance baselines, troubleshoot performance issues and provide recommendations/fixes for identified issues
• Recommends and implements continuous improvement and automation of tasks
• Assists users with development and optimization of Tableau workbooks for optimal performance
• Experienced in communicating with Tableau support and resolving issues

• Experience Working with Relational Databases
• Support Agile-based activities and responsibilities
• Experience with PostgreSQL in order to create scripts and queries off Tableau Server Repository
• Knowledge and experience with Cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
• Experience with integrations within Collibra
• In-depth experience with design & development of Workbook Dashboards, and Data Sources through Tableau Desktop
• Ability to recommend best practices of development and optimize dashboards
• Hands on Experience Tableau 9.x/10.x/2018.x
• Experienced in tabcmd/tsm command-line functions
• Experience and familiarity with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools/commands (TabMon, PerfMon, LogShark, VizAlerts)
• At least 2 years of focused Tableau administration experience and total 4+ years of Tableau experience in an IT Department, preferably within a Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Team
