Project focus: You will contribute to a large, established SaaS codebase that serves higher-education clients. You’ll help refactor for scalability, improve performance, and expand features that enable career centers to deliver better student outcomes. The role blends back-end C# work with front-end SPA elements, automated testing, and continuous delivery in a fast-paced agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to solve complex technical problems in an agile setting, delivering changes multiple times per week.
Architect, develop, review, and support high-quality code with automated tests; maintain a clean, scalable codebase.
Refactor and redesign existing modules to maximize performance and maintainability; expand automated test coverage to minimize regressions.
Communicate effectively with engineers, Product, and QA to design intuitive features that meet user needs.
Provide technical guidance, mentor teammates, and contribute to best-practice decisions across the team.
Own and be accountable for key modules and features, driving quality and timely delivery.
Work in a diverse, globally distributed team, continuously learning and applying new skills to improve the product and processes.

What you will bring

Required Experience & Skills

5+ years of full-stack web application development with C# in a SaaS product environment; demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong testing mindset with experience in unit and integration testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Proficiency applying software engineering best practices and design patterns to large codebases with multiple modules and complex business rules.
Experience with SPA development using JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular or React.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment with frequent deliverables and collaboration with international teammates.

Nice-to-Haves

Desirable Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of scalable data architectures, database design, and performance tuning.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and influencing architectural decisions at scale.
Familiarity with accessibility, security practices, and compliance considerations for education-sector software.
