We are in the business of helping companies become software juggernauts. Over the last 7 years we have built an enterprise SAAS platform used by many of the world’s largest companies (Vodafone, Telefonica, Westpac, Pepsico, Barclays… just to name a few)
Our current web application needs a refresh and we are embarking on a project to update the look and feel of our web application. We are looking for an experienced front end developer to join our team to help apply the new look and feel across the website. We are looking for a developer with a keen eye for design and attention to detail who can work with the team to deliver a quality product.
Initially we are looking for a 6 month contract that will have possibility for longer term position pending the success of the project.

Job functions

We are looking for a Remote Product Designer to join our team. This role is for any design professional that wants to be part of an exciting startup and loves creating amazing digital products and experiences. A passion for technology-focused work and a desire to collaborate with a dynamic and fast-paced team will make you a competitive candidate.
Responsibilities:
  • Understand user needs, business needs, and work with your team in determining opportunities as well as hypotheses for solutions.
  • Design optimizations flow, and interfaces that are effective, usable, simple and desirable for our users.
  • Use basic research techniques, competitive analysis, and data to inform strategic and tactical design decisions.
  • Define the user experience and visual design of your solutions from concept to shipping and beyond.
  • Produce and share design prototypes showing how a user will experience your solution - interaction and visual design.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to set expectations for project scope and delivery timeframes
  • Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually strive to improve quality and craftsmanship.
  • Produce detailed specs for your interaction models and UI in order to collaborate with engineers in the communication of the solutions.
  • Help to create and manage a new modern design system in collaboration with the development team.
  • Be an excellent human, exhibiting compassion for your teammates and integrity in your actions and decisions

Qualifications and requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a product designer
  • Preferred: experience in tech and SaaS enterprise tools
  • A proactive mindset to work in a goal-driven remote environment
  • Excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • User-centric focus. Design is the champion of the user.
  • Master in wireframing and prototyping complex interaction flows
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma or similar.
  • Experience in creating and managing complex design systems.
  • A high aptitude for teamwork and open collaboration

Desirable skills

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JS.
  • Knowledge of React and component-based systems
  • Experience in user experience and user research processes
  • Data-driven design mindset
  • Experience in Jira or other project management system
  • Interface animations know-how
