MyStrengthBook is a software-as-a-service start-up that builds software solutions to help strength coaches manage their athletes training.

MyStrengthBook offers 3 different SaaS plans:

Standard (B2C): An advanced fitness tracker for strength athletes that provides in-depth training metrics
Premium (B2C): Unlimited access to self-serve expert designed training programs
Coaching platform (B2B): A platform to manage and run your online strength coaching business

We’ve built several profitable projects in the fitness industry from coaching software, data tracking tools, and workout planners.

We’re a small team of people, passionate about building and scaling software application. We work remotely from multiple different countries, and connect online through Slack. We are hyper focused on helping fitness entrepreneurs build scalable online businesses

Job functions

We are looking for a dynamic UI/UX Designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

Optimize existing user interface designs
Test existing and new product designs for intuitivity and overall experience
Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
Translate concepts into user flows, storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
Collaborating with the internal teams to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.

Qualifications and requirements

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite.
A team player but can work independently too.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

You have a passion for creating simple and elegant design solutions. You also have a knack for graphics design and have dabbled in creative marketing tasks such as creating visual content for social media (images, videos, content)

You have an entrepreneurial spirit.

Perhaps you’ve built a few side projects, or you just like to ‘start things from scratch’. You follow start-up and tech blogs/podcasts. You ask questions, search for solutions to problems, and have contrarian viewpoints.

You can work independently.

You are organized and can prioritize various tasks under tight deadlines. You are responsible and have intrinsic motivation for work.

You love fitness and sports.

You enjoy working out, fitness, or playing sports.
