Responsibilities

We are seeking a full time Community Manager to oversee our online communities, engaging with members and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of social media platforms and online communities.

  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies across all relevant channels, including social media, forums, and email marketing campaigns
  • Actively engage with community members to answer questions, provide support, and foster a positive and inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to identify community needs and opportunities for engagement
  • Create and manage content for social media channels, including posts, tweets, surveys, events and blogs
  • Analyze community engagement metrics and report on the success of community engagement strategies
  • Manage and moderate online forums and other community platforms, ensuring that they remain safe and productive spaces for discussion
  • Identify and leverage key community influencers to help spread brand awareness and increase engagement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders
  • Organize offline events, meetups, and other community-building activities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for community management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in community management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and online communities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Office, Google Suite, and social media management tools
  • Knowledge of basic design principles and experience with graphic design software a plus
  • Passion for building and growing communities
  • Based in Mexico City
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
