SEO Manager in Wheel the World

Our Marketing team is growing! We want people to think of Wheel the World as the best solution for people with disabilities and seniors to find and book accessible travel experiences. With destinations around the globe, our first step is to position WTW in the US. We are aiming for two goals: to be more aggressive with our brand and to be effective in our performance.

We are looking for a talented person to lead our SEO strategy. Someone who is proactive, willing to learn and a critical thinker. This person will focus on positioning relevant keywords for Wheel the World, working closely with our content and tech team, and will have the ability to analyze and propose actions to improve our digital brand presence.

Your Mission

Your mission is to improve SEO performance of Wheel the World, including technical optimization, organic keyword positioning, backlink strategy, web structure ideas for better digital presence, creating reports to deliver insights to the entire team.

• Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
• Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects and report on performance
• Conduct keyword research to guide content team
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
• Optimize website content and landing pages, working closely with content team
• Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
• Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects
• Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends

• You are flexible, hands-on team player who knows that to get to our goals you need to make things happen
• Data driven, strategic thinker with great analytical skills
• 3+years of experience in SEO roles
• You have experience planning SEO projects, establishing realistic timelines, communicating with stakeholders, allocating resources, troubleshooting issues, and delivering and measuring results.
• You have an advanced level of English
• Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience with SEO reporting
• Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
