Video Editor – Social Media in HyreDay

HyreDay is looking for a Video Editor to join one of our clients’ dynamic creative teams focused on producing high-impact social video content for music artists.

In this remote-friendly role, you’ll work closely with US-based clients and internal creative leads to craft videos that drive views, engagement, and follower growth across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. You’ll execute within a scalable content strategy — leveraging both existing assets and fresh material — to maximize viral potential while maintaining brand voice and production efficiency.

This position sits within our client's creative strategy efforts and plays a key role in helping music artists elevate their online presence and ROI through compelling short-form video content.

• Minimum 2+ years of video editing experience with a strong portfolio, particularly for social media videos.
• Proven ability to create content that has achieved viral reach or millions of views.
• Comfort with producing a high volume of edits daily (5-15) and working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong written English communication and ability to articulate creative rationale and feedback.
• Familiarity with platform-specific dynamics for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, including best practices for hooks, pacing, captions, and native formats.
• Expertise in at least one professional editing tool (e.g., Adobe After Effects & Premiere, DaVinci Resolve); capabilities with CapCut are a plus.
• Experience in marketing/advertising environments or agencies is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume workloads.
• Experience using Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Previous remote collaboration experience and comfort with cross-functional teamwork.
