The development efforts encompass both backend and frontend components, integrating event-driven workflows, serverless architectures, and human-centered user interfaces to support real-world applications with strong security and compliance requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and deliver AI-accelerated, full-stack features using Go (Golang) on the backend and React with TypeScript on the frontend.
Architect and implement secure, scalable APIs and event-driven workflows leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, Aurora, S3, Cognito, and API Gateway.
Drive infrastructure automation and continuous delivery pipelines using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles to support AI-native cloud deployments.
Build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using ShadCN UI components and modern React patterns aimed at seamless human-AI interaction.
Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering leadership to translate complex AI concepts and use cases into reliable, production-grade software solutions.
Maintain best practices for security, scalability, and performance in cloud-native environments, especially in sensitive data contexts relevant to public safety.

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a mid-level engineer (equivalent to Level 4) with 3–5 years of professional software development experience across full-stack technologies, ideally with a proven track record of shipping production-grade systems in dynamic environments.

Technical skills and experience:

Fluency in Go (Golang) for backend services and React with TypeScript for frontend development, with the ability to rapidly develop and optimize AI-focused interactive systems.
Deep experience working with cloud-native AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Aurora, and Cognito, and familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns.
Strong knowledge of designing and scaling RESTful APIs backed by PostgreSQL databases that support AI inference or automation workflows.
Solid engineering fundamentals coupled with a strong bias for learning quickly, iterating at pace, and leveraging AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to accelerate development velocity and precision.

Soft skills and traits:

A passion for clean, human-centered UX design, especially in AI-augmented interfaces.
Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work effectively in a remote-first, fast-moving team environment that values ownership and experimentation.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools to automate deployment pipelines and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
Interest or hands-on experience with serverless design patterns and event-driven architectures that enhance AI-powered systems.
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards such as CJIS, FedRAMP, or other frameworks applicable to data-sensitive, high-trust environments.
Demonstrated curiosity and/or experience working with AI workflows, including integrating tools powered by large language models (LLMs), embeddings, or intelligent agents.
A strong eye for polished, clean UI design and user experience that facilitates efficient human-AI collaboration.
