About Data Quality Co-op (DQC): DQC builds technology to help the market research industry ensure trust, transparency, and accuracy in survey data. Our platform detects and prevents fraud by analyzing device integrity and behavioral quality, delivering real-time visibility into respondents and engagement. We combine advanced device scoring, respondent history tracking, and data transformation pipelines to empower agencies and sample providers with clean, authentic data.
Project focus: As an Integrations Developer, you will join our engineering team to design, build, and optimize customer data integrations that power our products and services. You will work on a mix of customer-facing and internal data pipelines, ensuring reliable data transfer, transformation, and accessibility across survey systems and DQC APIs. This role contributes to scalable ETL workflows, serverless data movement on AWS, and robust integration patterns with leading survey platforms.

Job opportunity published on getonbrd.com.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between customer survey systems (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher, and others) and DQC’s internal APIs, ensuring accurate data movement and transformation.
• Implement and support ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) structured and semi-structured data across multiple systems, with an emphasis on reliability and observability.
• Develop and maintain serverless applications on AWS Lambda to handle data movement, transformation, and error handling, with proper logging and monitoring.
• Read and interpret customer API documentation to design efficient, scalable integration solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows, diagnosing data flow or authentication issues and implementing durable fixes.
• Create clear technical documentation, including API endpoints, webhook handling, data mappings, and troubleshooting guides, to enable cross-team collaboration.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data, and customer delivery teams to ensure reliable data transfer and transformation logic, and communicate progress to stakeholders in English.

Role overview

We are seeking a mid-to-senior Integrations Developer to join our remote-first engineering team (Mountain Time). You will own the design and implementation of data integrations that connect customer survey environments with DQC’s platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on back-end work, data modeling, and integration reliability, with a focus on robust data flows, error handling, and clear documentation. You will partner with product, data, and customer delivery teams to translate customer needs into scalable, maintainable integration solutions that enable trusted survey data pipelines.
What you bring: strong experience with REST APIs, data formats (JSON, XML, CSV), and server-side development (Node.js/TypeScript preferred; Python or Java also acceptable). You understand authentication (OAuth, tokens), webhooks, and ETL concepts. You are comfortable with AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, and queueing systems (e.g., AWS SQS). You can read API documentation, design practical integration patterns, and write clear technical docs. You’re a proactive communicator who thrives in cross-functional settings and can explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Prior experience integrating with third-party API ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Qualtrics) and familiarity with survey hosting platforms or data collection tools.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent software development experience.
• Experience with data quality, fraud detection, or market research data pipelines is a plus.

Why join DQC

• Contract, full-time workload with remote work aligned to Mountain Time.
• Collaborative, product-focused engineering culture with ownership and opportunities to influence architecture.
• Flexible scheduling, clear growth paths, and exposure to cutting-edge data integration technologies.
• Reports to the CTO and works with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, and customer delivery).
