What would be your challenge? - Responsibilities

Programming the code that runs in the robot, within the supervision of the Robotics Manager

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review existing robot codes, program patches and implement new functionalities that could be related to robot validation, image processing, navigation, session management or data transferring, among others.
Work collaboratively to maintain staging/testing areas for robot code
Work collaboratively to create testing standards for robot code
Document processes involved in robot workflow
Actively participate in robot software upgrades, supporting issues

Requeriments

Formation: Computer Science Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar, with knowledge of programming robots or creating software for robotics.

Must:
* Python
* C++
* Robot Operating System (ROS)
* Git
* Comfortable using branching models like GitFlow
* Intermediate english

What would make you stand out? - Optional

Desirable:
* Bash scripting
* Linux Command Line Interface (ssh, scripting, etc)
* Knowledge in MQTT
* Comfortable requesting from REST APIs
* Basic knowledge in web frameworks like Django or Flash
