Role Responsibilities

Own production for a port of a mobile game to TV/cloud
Work directly with engineers and UI/UX designer to meet key milestones at quality
Be able to unblock engineering & UI/UX designer to do their best work
Keep executives in the loop with production & timelines
Help troubleshoot prioritization and keep all interested parties informed, keeping an eye to building reusable technology
Maintain relationships with our key IP holders to ensure collaboration is going well across Series.AI & the IP holder

We’re looking for a candidate who…

Technical production
- Is very good at working directly with engineers to manage a schedule, track daily progress, and make sure we hit key milestones
- Is very good at working directly with engineers to help them troubleshoot issues
- Is very good at keeping a cross-functional group connected & informed about progress and blockers related to a project
Creative production
- Is capable with gameplay UI/UX feel and can help troubleshoot issues that arise from porting a mobile game onto TV/Cloud
- Is capable with controller UI/UX feel and can help troubleshoot issues related to ensuring great game experience in a new paradigm re: TV/Cloud
IP-holder production
- Is familiar with working with IP holders to develop products that must meet certain production standards – and with interfacing with production from IP studios to ensure the product is meeting deliverable standards & timelines

Requirements:

Technical understanding of how mobile Unity games are made, ideally with the ability to pinch hit as needed to help engineers troubleshoot problems
Technical understanding of how APIs work and are designed and developed
3+ years of experience as producer for a consumer-facing technology product, working directly with artists and engineers to help bring the product to market
2+ years of experience as a producer overseeing release management
1+ years of experience troubleshooting memory management for games and/or technology products
Strong project management skills
Strong communication skills
Must be fluent as an English speaker

Additional considerations:

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is a plus
A feel for UI/UX & for “making games that feel good” is a plus
Experience leading a port of a mobile technology to another platform is a plus
Experience working with localization processes is a plus
Experience working with QA processes is a plus
Experience as a software developer is a plus

Important!

This is a contract position at 40 hours a week with the potential of converting to a full-time role.
The person will be working in the Pacific Time Zone (PT).
