Product Manager in 3Nets

3nets.io. is a Santa Clara, CA-based company engaged in developing a service-aware elastic networking platform that adapts to the needs of customer applications including the modern microservices-based application environment. The software-based platform leverages commercially available hardware and public and private cloud infrastructure. The enterprises or MSPP's customers could express intent through policy rules that control and drive the network's behavior.

• Understand new use cases to be addressed in the 3Nets platform by developing deep technical relationships with the 3Nets customers and field teams, and by maintaining a broad understanding of the cloud networking market.
• Design new, exciting 3Nets features that address these use cases. Partner with the engineering team to validate the feasibility and the development effort. Identify tradeoffs when necessary.
• Follow the feature during the coding and testing phase to ensure that the implementation is aligned with the requirements.
• Work with key customers prior to the release with the Customer Preview Program.
• Launch the feature externally by collaborating with the product marketing and technical marketing groups.
• Monitor the customer feedback and continuously improve the feature after the launch.
• Provide technical and architectural expertise for the feature to 3Nets customers and field teams.
• Deliver roadmap sessions to 3Nets customers.

• Bachelor's degree in CS or similar.
• 5+ years of direct work experience as a Product Manager in the cloud or "on-prem" networking industry.
• Technical expertise in at least one of the following fields: cloud networking, software-defined networking and network overlays such as VXLAN, network security, enterprise networking such as SD-WAN.
• Proficient in cloud networking across at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.

• Domain experience and/or exposure to storage replication, backup and other data protection technologies and methodologies
• Experience and/or exposure to service provider operating and consumption models, multi-tenancy, and shared infrastructure operating models.
• Experience developing, applying, and productizing software or infrastructure-based services and solution offerings.
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure preferred.
