Who We Are Looking For

The SEO/SEM Lead is responsible for developing and implementing the strategies for SEO (on-page & off-page) to drive high rankings and positively impact organic traffic to Pago46 services. The candidate will work with the Country Manager for the region, in addition to front end developers, and product teams to take SEO initiatives from ideation to production.

What you’ll do:

  • Be our day-to-day in-house SEO expert and handle all internal SEO questions.

  • Test and execute new SEO on-page and off-page SEO strategies

  • Analyze, troubleshoot and provide solutions related to organic traffic to the website.

  • Implement structured data sitewide following the standards of

  • Monitor daily performance of site ranking with webmaster tools

  • Drive continuous improvement in SEO by collaborating with marketing, product and engineering teams

  • Lead SEM campaigns from ideation to execution


  • 2-4 years of experience in implementing best-practice SEO strategies and SEM campaigns

  • Experience implementing SEO strategies for single page applications, sites with paywalls and video sites

  • Understanding of related technical details such as site architecture, taxonomy, HTML, CSS, sitemaps, mobile responsiveness, schemas, https, etc.

  • Proficiency with standard SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console etc

  • Clear communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills

  • Quantitatively oriented, can utilize a variety of analytics tools to measure and track performance

  • Strong excel modeling skills and ability to handle large data sets


  • A strong interest in the future payments, fintech, and changing the status quo

  • Experience building a business from the ground up

  • General marketing experience including channel strategy, offline, referals and other marketing relevant experience
