Job functions

As a Mobile Developer, you'll be working with the dev and product teams to help develop and maintain Gain's mobile app. You will help us:

Work under our Development Team Leader to build and maintain our mobile app for iOS and Android platforms
Develop new features and user interfaces from wireframes or mockups
Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
Successfully deploy and manage apps in both Apple App Store and Google Play environments
Fix bugs and performance problems
Write clean, readable, and testable code

Requirements

Extensive knowledge about mobile app development, including the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the stores
Experience with both iOS and Android platforms and their respective frameworks and APIs
Proficiency in the languages required to build and maintain a cross-platform mobile app
Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and the ability to choose the best solution for the app
Understanding of mobile app design guidelines for each platform
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries to connect applications to back-end services
Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications

It would be cool if you had:

Familiarity with push notifications and cloud message APIs like OneSignal
Familiarity with iOS and Android Intents, URL schemes, and app extensions
Proficiency with Git
Experience with React Native and how to integrate it with native code
