What is Forest?
We are Forest, London’s most sustainable shared eBike operator. We bridge the gap between affordability and sustainability, using our advertising revenue to offer all users 10 minutes free cycling daily.

*This job is based in Chile (candidate must be based here), and reports to the team in Chile and the UK. Spanish and English fluency is mandatory.

What are you going to do?

- Join the development of Forest’s end-user application built with Flutter framework, used daily by thousands of users to rent bikes in London.
- Keep track of technical metrics and user feedback to drive improvements.
- Collaborate with managers, designers, and other engineers in the concept, design, development and testing processes.
- Deliver high quality code.
- Mentor and empower other developers and engineers around you.
- Learn the latest mobile technologies and standards to ensure we are always using the best techniques possible.

What are we looking for?

- 2+ years experience as a Flutter Developer OR 4+ years of combined experience as Android/iOS + Flutter Developer.
- Proven software development experience.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with third-party libraries and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with Git and Github.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of a state management system.

Bonus

- Experience with TDD and testing in general.
- Exposure to cloud-based solutions in AWS and GCP.
- Knowledge in Platform channels.
- Have your own package or plugin or know how to create one.
- Knowledge in BLOC.
- Experience deploying applications to the stores through some CI/CD.
- Routing and dependency injection management with Modular.
