Empirical is an established Software Development Company, based in San Diego, California. We are looking for a highly-skilled senior mobile engineer to join our team to design, implement and maintain a video streaming platform for one of our clients, a world class TV channel. Job functions

Qualifications and requirements

Bachelor's degree in any discipline
5+ years of relevant/similar industry experience
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong development experience in Android (iOS experience is a plus)
Experience with Java (minimum 5 years) and Kotlin (minimum 2 years)
Must be fluent in English
Must be located in Argentina

Desirable skills

Experience with Amazon and Google libraries
Experience in Chromecast receiver apps
Experience with Google's Exoplayer for Android
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, GraphQL and Apollo
Experience implementing event tracking systems such as analytics, video analytics, quality of video, user activity, amongst others
Experience working with tools to facilitate collaboration and agile process (Jira, Bitbucket or others)
Experience collaborating with design tools (Zeplin, Figma and others)
