We are building a digital wellness product from scratch, designed to empower individuals to improve their health, well-being, and lifestyle through innovative, user-centric solutions.

You will be joining a multidisciplinary, collaborative team composed of a product manager, UX/UI designer and a development team all distributed around America.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance mobile applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Continuously improve app performance and user experience.
Troubleshoot complex bugs and enhance optimization and efficiency.
Participate in peer code reviews and daily scrum meetings.
Communicate daily with US-based team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver outstanding mobile experiences.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in mobile development utilizing typescript.
Proficiency in developing mobile apps with React Native. (Experience with native iOS and/or Android development is a plus.)
Hands-on experience managing application state within React Native projects.
Deep understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
Experience with version control systems like GitHub.
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and API integration.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience with SCRUM development methodology.
Excellent spoken and written English.

Nice to Have:

Experience with streaming applications (video and/or music).
Familiarity with native build tools like XCode and Android Studio.
Experience with logging technologies like Bugsnag and Firebase.
Experience with GitHub Actions.
Experience with in-app payments.

What we offer

Long term contract as a contractor with 15 PTO per year.
Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, EST)
Payment: USD 2K to 4K monthly paid via Deel.
