Semi Senior Flutter Mobile Developer in Evsy

Evsy, is the community-based Electric Vehicles (EV) charging app that connects charge points with users at every charger, anywhere. We help help EV users and Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to save time, make better decisions and avoid conflicts

Evsy is seeking to hire a full-time Mobile Developer (Flutter) to engineer applications that will run across Android, iOS, and the web. We are looking for someone passionate about performance, reliability and design with the experience and credentials to back up that passion.

The ideal candidate will have experience building native applications, JavaScript knowledge, and a portfolio of applications already published either in the app store or self-hosted.

Evsy is seeking a Semi Senior Software Developer to act as our Senior App Developer to design and build new and exciting next generation Flutter based mobile applications. You will be a core member of a multidisciplinary team that takes ideas from the whiteboard to code to high quality mobile experiences. You will provide technology and platform experience to the UX Design team and act as a sounding board for technical feasibility.

• Work in an iterative and agile process to deliver high quality code and user experiences
• Partner with our Architecture, Design, Product, Quality, and Back End teams to develop solutions that deliver a high level of quality and impact to our users
• Act as a sounding board for ideas to help determine appropriate use of technologies including animation, motion, 3D, and audio to deliver a truly next generation experience
• Ensure that our next generation mobile applications are both efficient and performant on all platforms
• Collaborate, coordinate, and provide general team support and mentorship

• 2+ years of Dart and Flutter experience
• Mobile development experience with published applications on Apple’s App Store or Google’s Google Play Store
• Excellent understanding of concurrent programming principles and how they apply to mobile development in Flutter
• Expert in the Dart, Swift, and Kotlin programming languages
• Excellent debugging and memory management skills
• Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle
• Experience with automated testing and building
• Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control tools.
• Proven experience in writing readable code, creating extensive documentation for existing code, and refactoring previously written code
• Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
• Willing to learn new technologies, accept challenges and meet product timelines

• One or more published Flutter mobile applications
• C/C++ Language experience
• Good understanding of mobile development pitfalls including memory management and battery/network usage
• Experience with all aspects of the Flutter mobile environment, from apps to packages to plugins

• 5 extra vacation days per year
