Accounting Manager in BNamericas

Creditntell.com is a full service consulting firm which analyzes the financial health of hundreds of publicly and privately held retailers. Our services include a comprehensive analysis of each retailer's financial condition, presented concisely and insightfully through our vast product assortment. We are looking for an Accounting Manager based in Chile.

The Accounting Manager role is responsible for managing and executing the accounting activities of the department. Reporting to the Head of Finance, main duties consist of (but are not limited to) managing Accounting team, leading monthly closing procedures, and supporting Head of Finance with reporting requirements.

Main responsabilities:

• Manage Accounting team members responsible for processing daily transactions.
• Review and approve transactions, enforce accounting guidelines and posting timeliness, and ensure internal control compliance related to customer invoicing, cash receipts, vendor bills, cash disbursements, corporate credit card, employee expense reports, fixed assets and payroll.
• Maintain accounting processes documentation, identify process/technology improvement opportunities for increased efficiency.
• Work closely with the Sales Operations team on customer contract processing matters
• Collaborate with the Employee Success team on employee related accounting matters
• Lead the month end closing process, ensure timeliness and completeness
• Review/prepare monthly financial statement supporting schedules (such as prepaid expenses, accrued expenses)
• Support Head of Finance in the preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reporting for management, investors and lender
• Provide financial analysis as needed such as variance analysis and forecasts
• Assist Head of Finance with annual budgeting and planning process
• Work with external auditors and tax preparers to provide requested information for annual financial audit and tax return filing
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

• Oral and written English fluency and proficiency required
• At least 7 years of relevant accounting and supervision experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration required
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
• Experience using Oracle NetSuite highly preferable
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• High level of quality awareness, accuracy, and attention to detail
