Job functions

Set up our first in-person office and operations in Chile. Today we have a remote team of developers in Chile and we want to start an office where team members can come to work out of.
Managing the HR details of the global and remote team, including Payroll,
Fluent in HR softwares such as Rippling and Buk or willingness to learn
Build out the HR techstack,
You'll lead the Operations team, and have junior team members reporting to you.
Manage communications around onboarding, recruiting, team activities, reimbursement, and holidays.
Create a lot of team activities, such as team dinners, online events or in person offsites
Maintain a high level of work ethic and integrity, strong EQ and IQ.

Qualifications and requirements

5+ years managing HR and Operations, ideally in a scale-up startup
MBA or a Top school Bachelors
Experience with Chilean and other Latin American countries regarding employment practices, taxation, and finance
Strong communication in both English and Spanish
Ability to have "difficult conversations", stakeholder dynamics, and HR conversations
Locate in Santiago, Chile; willingness to travel occasionally to visit other members internationally
Thrive under pressure and love challenges, strong self-starter attitude, relentless drive to grow
