Omnichannel Product Manager😎 in Tienda Pago

Tienda Pago is a fintech with a presence throughout Mexico and Peru. Part of the team works in the USA, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. 🚀

Through an app we grant credit to the stores so that they can increase their inventory, this allows the stores to be better stocked and sell more. On average, the stores that work with us sell 20% more than they did before. Our purpose is to support small stores or warehouses, and make a difference at the base of the economic pyramid; We are a fintech with great social impact. 💪

Responsibilities 🙂

• Governance of the omnichannel strategy across the organization. Coordinate and align the strategy/roadmap with business, growth and product teams.
• Manage the product roadmap, defines new functionality and support operation of every customer faced channel.
• Current channels are: Stores Mobile App, Distributors Mobile App, Distributors Web, WhatsApp Bot, SMS, IVR and Voice (IPPBX). 📲
• Future channels: New Campaing Manager (ie Braze), replace contact center solution.
• Lead seleccion of service providers for external tools in the scope of the omnichannel strategy

Staff the team to complete the work in the agreed velocity and quality🏃🏻‍♂️

• Assign resources matching needs to engineers skills.

Bridge the gap between channels teams and business/product teams. 🤝

• Curator of the engineer work incoming to the team evaluating impact and team fit.
• Help team translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Communicate technical solutions/problems to business stakeholders.

Ship Good Quality Code Fast 🤟🏻

• Do an initial effort estimate.
• Work with the team on the commitment that they can make and align priorities.
• Create and lead the execution of an implementation plan.
• Manage technical blocks between his team and others (internal/external teams).
• Make sure that QA process are in place for the project/context (ie. code reviews, test automation, integral testing.

Take ownership of what is being built ✈️

• Responsible solution availability (uptime).
• Monitor application performance with end users and process feedback.
• The job doesn't finish when the code/solution is deployed. His team is the owner of the technical solution since the first deployment until deprovision.
• Continuous improvement, bug fixes and availability is key part of the job.

Enable the organization to use the channels ⚙️

• Manages the documentation needed in order to use/implement/maintain the platform or technology (specially if the solution is an API).

• Reside in Mexico y/o Peru (Very Important).
• 4-5 years of experience as software engineer
• 2-3 years of management experience.
• BS in engineering or other of Tech.
• Passionate advocate of Agile best practices and tools. (Scrum, Kanban, etc).
• Technical English Writing/Speaking.
• Experience performing technical/root cause analysis and using monitoring/data tools (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Datadog or other APMs).

• Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders.
• Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.
• Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges.
• Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
