Voltron Data is an early-stage company creating high-performance data access and in-memory computing tools based on Apache Arrow to accelerate enterprise data analytics. We are a collection of open-source maintainers who have been driving open-source ecosystems over the last 15 years, particularly in the C++, Python, and R programming ecosystems.

We are assembling a global, diverse team to build a new foundation for data analytics with Apache Arrow. This foundation will usher in a wave of innovation in data processing that can take full advantage of the speed and efficiency offered by modern hardware.

The Enterprise Account Executive will lead the end-to-end sales cycle (prospecting, presenting, forecasting, closing, onboarding, managing) of Voltron Data offerings to enterprise companies.

Role

  • Understand our team's operational norms, culture, policies, and procedures.
  • Learn and understand the current processes and procedures, such as equipment requests, benefits management, app maintenance, and reports.
  • Learn about ClickUp automation, Zapier, and how we use it to automate operational processes and connect multiple tools we use internally.
  • Track requirements and delegate them if necessary.
  • Review wording and consistency of public policies and procedures.
  • Triage documents and communications to make sure they are in their designated place.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Partner with various Departments to assist with tasks when necessary.
  • Provide communication to management of daily tasks and if tasks cannot be accomplished.
  • Act as second-in-command to the manager, and taking care of all duties in their absence.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an operations assistant or in a similar position
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. (Fluent in English and Spanish)
  • Proven ability to carry out duties in a timely manner; requesting clarification where required
  • High level of organization and ability to follow and carry out instructions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Google Workspace Management experience
