WHO WE ARE
We’re a fast-growing, remote-first U.S. custom apparel and promotional products company. We serve nationwide clients across screen printing, embroidery, DTG, DTF, and more. We’ve been in business for 10 years and are scaling quickly. Our current bottleneck is operations: the founder still handles too many day-to-day escalations and cross-team management. The business works, but documentation and process depth lag scale. We need someone to own operations, clean up processes, and build scalable systems so we can grow smoothly.
WHY WE’RE HIRING
Every order depends on sales, design, production, and support moving in sync. This role makes that happen by owning outcomes across departments, handling VIPs and escalations, and building the SOPs that keep work flowing.
REPORTING & TEAM - Reports to: Founder- Teams reporting to you: Sales, Design, Production/Outsourcing/Admin, Support- Scope: Orchestrate daily flow across teams and systems; ensure handoffs meet standards

Exclusive to Get on Board.

Role Summary and Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY
This is part manager, part operator. You oversee the daily flow across sales, design, production, outsourcing, admin, and support. You serve as the link between the founder and the front line. You step in for VIP accounts and escalations, and you improve systems so issues stop repeating.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Internal Operations & Escalations:
-Orchestrate order flow across sales, design, production/outsourcing, and support so work moves on time and without rework
-Handle escalations from any department until resolved; prevent recurrence by fixing process/SOP gaps
-Define, document, and enforce SOPs; train the team to them
-Track core KPIs and surface issues early: turnaround times, error rates, design approval rates, conversion rates
-Maintain a defined cadence of communication with the founder on KPIs, risks, and decisions (cadence will evolve as you take full ownership)
Client & Account Responsibilities:
-Be the primary point of contact for a small set of VIP accounts
-Step in on exceptions when needed (not routine): send quotes, handle customer communications, make light proof edits, coordinate with vendors on edge cases
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN 6 MONTHS- You’ve fully taken over the founder’s day-to-day operational role- Escalations hitting leadership are reduced to nearly zero- SOPs are documented and optimized so scaling is painless
WHY JOIN US
We pay above market for top contributors and we overpay the best people. Perform here and your compensation grows with your impact. You’ll have a clear line to higher leadership roles (General Manager, Director of Operations). You get autonomy and ownership without corporate red tape. You’ll be the foundation that enables our next stage of growth.

Requirements and Skills

REQUIREMENTS- Industry experience is non-negotiable: 2–3+ years of management in decorated apparel, screen printing, embroidery, DTG, DTF, or promotional products- Owns outcomes: leads teams and can jump in directly on exceptions when needed- Fast, independent problem solver who creates solutions, not excuses- Strong leadership and management skills across multiple departments- Broad understanding of quoting, proofing, production workflows, outsourcing, and customer communication- Able to work 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. ET or 12:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. ET for U.S. late-day coverage
WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY
If you need daily direction or step-by-step instructions, this role is not for you. If you freeze under pressure, avoid tough conversations, or have never managed operations in this industry, don’t apply.
CORE VALUES (HOW WE OPERATE) - Speed: move fast, fix fast- Ownership: own outcomes, not tasks- Zero excuses: if it breaks, we fix it and prevent it from happening again- Creative problem solving: simple, practical solutions that work under pressure

Preferred Attributes and Additional Skills

While not mandatory, candidates with the following will be at a strong advantage:
  • Experience leading operations in a remote-first or distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with advanced operational tools and software used in apparel production and fulfillment.
  • Track record of successfully improving process documentation and scaling operational capacity.
  • Comfort interfacing directly with senior leadership and a strategic mindset for growth-oriented operational management.
