Role and Responsibilities

Design and maintain robust event schemas and optimized data models within the data warehouse to support accurate analytics and reporting needs.
Develop and implement data transformation processes that convert raw data into actionable formats for Reverse ETL pipelines using tools like Hightouch or Segment.
Lead initiatives to ensure data fidelity and consistency between Customer Data Platform (CDP) configurations and source-of-truth warehouse tables, maintaining high data quality standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Oversee DataOps processes to streamline and automate data workflows, supporting continuous integration and delivery practices.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team, promoting best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Continuously monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to avoid data disruptions.

Required Skills and Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Engineer / DataOps Lead with extensive experience in designing event-driven data schemas and managing data transformation pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and practical experience working with Reverse ETL tools such as Hightouch or Segment.

Key technical skills include proficiency in SQL for data modeling, expertise in data pipeline orchestration, and strong familiarity with Customer Data Platforms and data fidelity validation. Candidates should demonstrate advanced problem-solving abilities and a solid grasp of data quality assurance techniques.

In addition to technical expertise, we value strong communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers. A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and excellence is essential to thrive in our dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Nice-to-Haves

Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is highly desirable. Familiarity with modern data engineering tools like dbt, Airflow, or similar workflow orchestrators will be an advantage.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for data manipulation and automation is beneficial. Prior leadership experience in DataOps or analytics engineering teams is a plus.

Understanding of GDPR and data privacy regulations, as well as experience implementing data governance frameworks, will also be considered valuable.
