Job functions

The main objective of the Backend developer is to design, implement, maintain, fix and optimize code and backend systems coded by either the PHP or JS languages.

What we'd like from you:

Design code solutions to implement new features or improve existing ones
Implement and integrate new features and components
Be prepared to work on different areas within projects, such as build systems, tools, services, databases, etc.
Be able to diagnose issues and find solutions to them
Help to keep code quality, organization, and automatization
Review code written by other team members

Qualifications and requirements

What we think you need to achieve :

5+ years of PHP and JS development experience in a fast-paced environment with short project deadlines
Strong object oriented programming skills
Experience building LAMP based server-side REST and/or SOAP APIs
Experience with NodeJS
Experience with relational databases
Experience with PHP debugging and testing
Experience with web application development using HTML, CSS and Javascript
Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
English: written, professional level

Desirable skills

Nice-to-have:

Experience with leading PHP frameworks like Laravel/Lumen, Symfony, Zend Framework, etc
Experience with Vue.js
Experience with Git, SVN and/or some other version control systems
Experience with Linux shell scripting
Experience with Docker
Experience on video games programming
Familiarity with continuous integration systems
