Looking for globally-minded Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of the MVP for a social network/platform that will connect language learners, teachers, and native English speakers from around the world in authentic and engaging social learning experiences.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated expertise using backend technologies (python or ruby on rails)
- Demonstrated expertise with deployment, scaling, and maintaining of web servers
- Leadership skills (experience managing teams – remote & on-site)
- Ideally has previous startup experience
- Ideally BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
- Fluency in English
