Full-Stack Developer in Great Expectations LLC

Great Expectations LLC is a U.S.-based startup on a mission to transform the $100 billion+ property management industry, a market known for fragmentation and outdated software solutions. We create beautiful, efficient, and scalable tools that leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and user-centered design to streamline property management workflows. Our engineering team follows best practices including modular architecture, clean code, and comprehensive testing to ensure quality and maintainability. The project currently focuses on delivering core systems that enhance marketing automation, accounting and operations workflows, as well as business intelligence and reporting capabilities for property management companies.

We seek an early-career full stack developer with at least two years of professional experience. Candidates should have a solid foundation in JavaScript, particularly Node.js, with familiarity or eagerness to learn TypeScript considered a plus. Experience with front-end frameworks, preferably Svelte, is highly desirable; however, React or Vue skills will also be well regarded.

Proficiency with Git and managing asynchronous workflows and API integrations is essential, as is working with relational databases using SQL. A strong grasp of software engineering best practices — including version control, code reviews, automated testing, and design patterns — is required to uphold our quality standards.

Excellent communication skills in English and comfort working remotely with a distributed team are key to success in this role. We value proactive collaboration and the ability to clearly articulate technical ideas.
