What you'll do

Build full-stack features across web and mobile using React, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS
Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with authentication, validation, and robust error handling
Model and query data efficiently with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
Integrate third-party services, payment systems, and AI/ML APIs into client apps
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect, responsive UIs
Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
Deploy and monitor apps on AWS/GCP with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Contribute to technical decisions and architecture discussions

Required skills, traits and experience

We’re seeking a senior full-stack developer with at least 3+ years of professional experience. You should have a strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React (hooks, context, state management). Backend experience with Node.js and either Express or NestJS is essential, along with solid SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and data modeling expertise. You should be comfortable designing RESTful APIs and writing clean, well-documented code. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent English communication (written and verbal) are required. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams is a must. A portfolio or GitHub demonstrating relevant work is expected.

Nice-to-have capabilities include Next.js SSR, additional backend frameworks (NestJS), NoSQL experience (MongoDB, Redis), GraphQL, Python/AI integration (OpenAI API, LangChain), React Native, cloud experience (AWS/GCP), Docker, CI/CD, testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright), prior remote work, and open-source contributions.

Desirable but not required

Prior experience with Next.js server-side rendering, GraphQL API development, and AI/ML integration is highly valued. Familiarity with mobile development (React Native) and containerization (Docker) is a plus. We value self-motivation, curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first culture.

What we offer

Competitive compensation: $80,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and location. Performance bonuses, annual reviews, and a profit-sharing program. True remote flexibility: work from anywhere with 4 hours daily overlap, no micromanagement, $500 home office stipend, and coworking space allowance if preferred.
