Key Responsibilities

As a Fullstack Developer, you will take end-to-end ownership of feature development across the full technology stack, leveraging your expertise in Java, Python, and React.

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Create dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces with React, implementing best practices in UI/UX development.
Collaborate closely with a small, skilled, and diverse team of internal and offshore developers to deliver high-quality code and meet project milestones.
Integrate and design RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
Utilize Python for predictive analytics and AI/ML tasks, including data manipulation leveraging libraries such as Pandas, and work with AI/ML frameworks as applicable.
Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement practices within the team.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Address and resolve technical challenges proactively, applying innovative solutions aligned with project goals.

Candidate Profile and Required Skills

We are seeking a motivated Fullstack Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience ideally in fintech or related domains. The candidate must be bilingual, proficient in Spanish (native) and English at B2+ or advanced level. Proven experience with full-stack development technologies and a passion for building scalable software solutions are essential.

Technical Expertise: Strong command of Java with hands-on experience in Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks. Skilled in React for frontend development of modern web applications.
Backend and API Development: Knowledge of SQL databases and RESTful API design principles.
Python Proficiency: Competent in Python programming with understanding of data structures, control flow, object-oriented programming, and data manipulation using libraries like Pandas. Experience applying Python for predictive analytics and machine learning tasks is mandatory.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively within cross-cultural, remote teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude. Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic startup environments. Passion for technology and fintech innovation.

Bonus qualifications include familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, cloud platform experience (AWS), testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.

Preferred but Not Required Skills

Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management, specifically AWS services.
Familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
Experience working in fully remote and multicultural teams.
Previous involvement in fintech projects or startup environments emphasizing rapid innovation.
