Who we are: We are Turbodega, https://turbodega.com. We are one of the fastest-growing startups in Peru. We are digitizing the entire supply chain of Latin America while having a social impact on local communities. We empower bodegas with sophisticated AI, and software so they can compete with the larger retailers.
Our why: When a larger retailer opens 50-70 bodegas around the community closes down. These are run by families and women who have no alternative means of income. Not only do bodegas make up 1/3rd of the GDP but they are crucial in the economic and local development of communities.
Turbodega is on a mission to capture the entire supply chain in Latin America. Our goal is to be the Amazon of the Amazon. We are starting with bodegas by providing them an easy and seamless way to order their products through WhatsApp. Our social mission is to help bodega owners optimize their operations and to create more revenue through their stores.
What we are looking for: We're looking for intermediate to senior JavaScript developers in NodeJS, MongoDB, and ExpressJS. Some chatbot experience would be nice but not necessary. If you've worked on complex and large scale projects I'd like to talk with you.

What you will be doing day-to-day:
-Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods
-Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
-Build customer-facing UI on Dialogflow and back-end services for our chatbot and AI microservices
-Code, test and operate node.js based services
-Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
-Intermediate English
-3-5 Years experience in NodeJS, MongoDB, Express, Javascript.
-8+ Years of experience in other languages such as .NET, PHP, Python
-Experience in ERPs, Retail and Ecommerce software development
-1+ Years experience building chatbots, Dialogflow, Twilio
-BA in computer science or something equivalent
-Working with multiple APIs and integrating them
-Scrum / Agile experience
-Unit Testing, Test-Driven Development
-Azure / Cloud Experience is a plus
-Design thinking experience is a plus
-GIT experience and working on teams is a must
-Fast learning is a must. We are moving quickly, and with that comes the need for complexity, flexibility and on the fly problem solving
