Senior/Lead Golang Developer in Softserve

We are a team of more than 80 specialists working with one of the biggest US-based leaders in the Smart Home industry. It’s been 9 years since we started our cooperation. The primary focus of our client is on ensuring home safety and security. They successfully applied it in a smart home solution that saves you resources and ultimately simplifies your life.

This time we have a project from scratch which aims at migrating from using one HR mngt system to the other. Project is to be started from scratch and with a newly built team.

⦁ Work in a highly autonomous and collaborative environment
⦁ Work closely with the other teams like mobile apps and embedded devices that integrate with the platform/backend
⦁ Research and evaluate new technologies and tools
⦁ Participate in re-occurring “Innovation Days” and work on innovative projects of your choice
⦁ Work on cool stuff that more than one million customers will be using
⦁ Create systems to handle lots of data from sensors, cameras, and user actions

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 5+ years' work experience
• Experience with creating and maintaining backend services
• Experience with queuing, concurrency, caching, persistence, performance
• Experience developing highly available HTTP and GRPC web services
• Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus: Golang, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, Python, Networking, Datacenter monitoring, Oauth2, Kafka, AWS, Security and data privacy, PaaS, SaaS, Docker, Microservices, and Video
• High level of communication skills. Ability to exchange ideas about complex subjects efficiently
• Upper intermediate English level
