Job Details:

The Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer is a .NET and React expert responsible for designing and building our company’s next generation of products and services while working closely with others. This position requires versatility and high motivation with a strong sense of commitment and teamwork.

You will be responsible for building and managing event-driven, highly performant, highly available, and scalable Microservices.

Essential Functions:

  • As part of an agile team, build and enhance business application software used in the entertainment industry.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, QA Automation Engineers, and stakeholders to design and implement new feature requests.
  • Follow best practices related to coding, testing and building software using .NET in a cloud based continuous integration environment.
  • Implement large, complex enterprise software systems from the ground up.
  • Conduct POC, test, and implement new technologies to support the application architecture.
  • Develop event-driven systems and microservices for scalable solutions.
  • Cloud Services expertise, particularly with AWS and/or Azure
  • Review and audit design solution.
  • Other duties as requested by the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs).
  • 5+ years with SQL and relational DBs (SQL Server or Postgres a plus).
  • 3 years in React, WebSocket/SignalR, HTML5/CSS (a plus).
  • Cloud-based dev experience (Azure or AWS).
  • Strong Kubernetes and Microservices experience.
  • Experience with event/data streaming (e.g. Apache Kafka).
  • Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record building large, multi-tenant web or client-server apps.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.
  • Deep knowledge of OOD, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with role/rule-based security (LDAP, SSO, etc.) preferred.
  • Caching/search tools like Elasticsearch or Redis a plus.
  • Workflow engine experience is a plus.
  • Financial systems knowledge (accounting, payroll) is a plus.
  • BSc in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree a plus.
