Responsibilities

Implement and manage the AVEVA PI System in industrial settings, focusing primarily on energy data management.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and remote teams to design and integrate technical solutions.
Document technical procedures and maintain detailed records for projects under your responsibility.
Ensure proper handling and operational use of PI System data for performance monitoring and KPI calculations specific to the energy industry.

Qualifications

Must reside in Latin America, Central America, or the Caribbean.
Degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience working in industrial environments or related sectors.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with AVEVA PI System.
Proven experience of 3+ years in the renewable energy sector, using the PI System for operational data management and KPI computations related to energy production and consumption.
Additional technical skills in automation, data handling, or related areas are desirable.
Fluent conversational English is mandatory; Spanish language skills are a plus.
Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience in automation systems and advanced data management techniques will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with industrial protocols and integration of PI System with other SCADA or industrial control systems is a plus. Previous remote work experience and strong communication skills to collaborate across time zones enhance the candidate's profile. Knowledge of additional languages beyond English and Spanish can be beneficial for broader collaboration.

Contract is for 1 year with possible extension, independent contractor model without tax withholding or insurance coverage. Working hours follow Pacific Time (US West Coast) schedule. Contractor provides own computer and equipment.
