As a backend software engineer you will be part of the engineering team of the company, where robustness is fundamental. You will design and build new apps and services.

You will participate in the design and construction of the set of systems that, among others:
1.- Allow loans to companies through different modalities and alliances.
2.- Collect, store and make available a wide variety of data sources.
3.- Monitor insolvency signals.
4.- Calculate risk scoring of actors and operations.
You will have the opportunity to create architectures and services from scratch.
You are ideal for the job if with your professional maturity you are able to choose the appropriate technology for each problem, without getting carried away by what is fashionable.
You are a Computer Science Engineer (or similar), with a high level of performance and experience working as a back-end software engineer in challenging teams. You like to work with other people who are as or more competent than you because it allows you to learn and achieve better results together.
You are comfortable doing your work and studying in English. You could be employed by Google or Amazon but you prefer to live in Chile, or you want to make a significant impact in a company. You care about the work environment and good people skills. You are willing to receive and deliver constructive criticism, and you value horizontality within a company.
Hard requirements:
1.- English: advanced technical level in reading and writing.
2.- Experience working in team workflows with CI/CD, pull requests, code reviews.
3.- Programming: advanced experience with Python.
4.- Linux: intermediate user level, including shell experience.
5.- Databases: modeling, SQL, etc., with hands-on experience with some of the popular engines, ideally PostgreSQL.
6.- APIs: consuming and designing web APIs (e.g. REST)
7.- Cloud: experience implementing cloud-native workloads running in production on some public cloud (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS)) or PaaS, using the corresponding services for e.g. storage, DB, cache, horizontal scaling (with containers e.g. Docker)
