The BI Developer role is based within our Data Team who work together to research, design, build and support end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions for our customers. The BI Developer owns the SQL and Tableau platform for dashboards and analytics. A key focus of this role is to understand our data assets and key metrics and be able to create and maintain dashboards that accurately reflect performance of our analytics product

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Interpret business requirements into compelling and engaging visual insights and reports utilising Tableau.
• Hold business stakeholder meetings to develop requirements for a raft of new marketing business reports.
• Design and develop data models to create clean, logical datasets for reporting and visualisation development.
• Conduct testing, performance testing and troubleshooting to ensure a rewarding end user experience.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on dataset designs, data fields used and user access.
• Provide tableau administration

Experience and skills we are looking for:

• Advanced SQL skills
• Advanced experience with Tableau or similar reporting software.
• 3+ years’ experience working with data assets with the purpose of delivering insight.
• The ability to work with large scale, complex, poorly documented and sometimes incomplete data.
• Ability to present analytics and insights in an intuitive manner.
• Ability to comprehend business needs and convert them into analytics requirements.
• Technically proficient in AWS services would be beneficial
• Experience working on a SAAS platform would be extremely beneficial
• Good communication skills and ability to work with key stakeholders to produce a desired outcome.
