C#/C++ Open Source Software Engineer in QuantConnect

QuantConnect is a radically open-source, algorithmic trading technology company building infrastructure to empower engineering and financial analysts around the world, with over 60 public repositories. We serve 200,000 engineers who use our platform to write trading algorithms and have traded more than $2B/mo in volume with our open-source algorithmic trading platform.

We host a web-based coding environment, to enabling the community to design and code their trading strategies in python or C#. We often have thousands of users simultaneously running intensive data processing.

We're looking for brilliant, collaborative engineers to join the Open Source LEAN team, solving complex software engineering problems in the heart of LEAN and it's brokerage modules.

We've been engineering since 2012 but each day we face more radical challenges with the rise of crypto trading and forever hungry demands of investors.

• Design, implement, and maintain LEAN open source C# Brokerage modules.
• Design, implement, and maintain core C# LEAN open source project.

• Computer Science / Software Engineering degree helps but if you're a savant we don't need a degree.
• Comfort mentally loading large engineering models and understanding data flows, along with where to place the "fix".
• Comfort coding; this role is a hands-on position solving active challenges.
• Comfort with C# or C++.

• LEAN challenges require a deep understanding of computer science and algorithmic problems. Each day we push the barriers of what is technically possible to gain performance improvements and restructure massive models to improve the system design.
• Experience integrating with brokerages APIs is a plus.
• Financial and trading knowledge is not required but valued.
