We are a fully remote and distributed company and we are lucky enough to have a diverse and multi-national team with team members in the U.S., Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Venezuela.

Job functions

  • Demonstrate your technical expertise by independently reviewing our existing interactive materials and refactoring them to be more stable and scalable.
  • Jump into our existing product development workflows, taking feedback, releasing test builds and adding to our documentation library.
  • Provide feedback on functional specifications coming from Product Managers and Game Designers, helping to conceptualize games and other interactive materials.
  • Prioritize web accessibility for each project, ensuring that it is usable by all users, even those with visual impairments.
  • Help prototype cutting-edge tools that have not been built before (ex. Interactive Video).
  • Demonstrate engineering leadership, working with Product Managers and Designers to improve the development workflows, providing suggestions that increase process efficiency.

Qualifications and requirements

  • A firm grasp of multiple client-side Javascript frameworks
  • Mastery of CSS/HTML/JS and writing cross-browser compatible code
  • Experience building single-page applications from scratch
  • Be self-sufficient and solve problems independently, reaching out for assistance when needed.
  • Consistently ensure accuracy and precision by having a strong eye for detail and a commitment to working in an organized way.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and advocate for what you need for project success.
  • Recognize inefficiencies in workflows and suggest ways for the team to improve.
  • Reliably estimate project scope, asking questions when things are not clear.
  • Write thorough technical documentation that is detailed and organized.
  • Never be satisfied - constantly strive to improve with each release. Learn quickly, embrace change and solve problems creatively.

Desirable skills

  • Experience working with Vue.js or Angular
  • Experience working with game engines such as Construct
  • Experience working with Lottie files
  • Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Zeplin, Adobe XD
