Responsabilities

As a Content Development Librarian you will be in charge of :
  • Developing, organizing and maintaining library collections to meet the demands of specific clients
  • Selecting, ordering and classifying relevant publications and multimedia
  • Carry out cataloging and classification of all library resources
  • Acquire new Content through contacts with Publishers and Agregators
  • Maintain records and prepare statistical and analytical reports for the company and clients
  • Assist sales team in the matter of specific material and information
  • Stay updated with trends and developments by reviewing publications and attending professional events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external bodies such as vendors and suppliers

Requirements

  • Knowledge of bibliographic management tools and technology
  • Proficient in standard office software applications (must)
  • Fluent in English (must)
  • One to three years of professional experience in a library with digital content (preferred)
  • Bachelor degree in Library Science of related degree (preferred )
